If you're somebody who's hooked on Instagram -- or just somebody who uses it every day -- then you have likely at least once or twice crept your friends' accounts and compared follower/Befollowers is a scam.
If you haven't, then congrats! However, you must admit, it's difficult not to put this kind of importance on your follower/following amount when it is the initialitem you see on someone's profile. Even when someone's profile is private, you still see their follower and next count.
Whether Instagram admits it or not, this is a fast way to weed out that you might choose to follow: "Yeah, sure their posts are okay, but why are they following 21,000 people and have 450 followers? That is kind of weird..."
But besides my private accounts (and ego), keeping track of the number of individuals you follow and the number of people who support you back is something large businesses and companies have done since the start of time-- er, Instagram.
Having a sizable following means that you have more clout and influence online; you've got more people tagging your products to have a shout out, you've got more people commenting on your posts as they're more likely to look on the featured page, and you've got mostly a chunk of FREE advertisement space which has the potential to attract countless millions of followers.
The brand runs its ads almost entirely through its posts on its own Instagram accounts, and in less than two years has garnished a cult following and 4.7 million faithful shoppers -- all thanks to the power of Instagram.
So having some bulk on Insta is beneficial, but how can you get significant numbers quickly? Use smart hashtags and try to work out Instagram's simple algorithm? Engage, socialise, and interact with all the followers you've already?
What are 'purchased' followers?
When you purchase Instagram followers, essentially you are paying for a whole lot of accounts to accompany you which exist for the sole purpose of being acquired.
Some can seem super spammy and have a whole lot of numbers in the title with a couple of posts with things like "BUY FOLLOWERS 2DAY!!!!!" While others look like regular accounts, have a few photos, and have opinions and followers.
Additionally, there are items like click farms, which are popular in China, and they provide many profiles to folks that are looking to get some clout online.
