Tips For Buying on eBay

This first article is not so much about secret methods and tactics to use when buying on eBay, but how to get going on the right foot. Como comprar en Ebay desde Argentina?

To begin with, you want to register on eBay to become a member and bid on/buy products.

You should have 3 things prepared before enrolling:

You will want to file your own personal, financial advice to eBay, there is just no way around it, except possibly registering using your organization information, for those who have a business.

It's intelligent to be careful when providing such information, particularly in the anonymous online world.

EBay is about as secure as a site can be and does a fantastic job of keeping your personal information private and secure. If your data is compromised, it is most likely you will be the one to inadvertently give it to a scammer, not eBay.

We'll get more into how which may happen more in a subsequent article. For now, we are covering security on your computer.

There are lots and lots of applications floating around on the net attempting to infect an unprotected computer to steal information, change your programming, use your pc as a drone, etc..

There are apps out there that may infect your computer and document the keystokes you create and relay this information to the bad guys. Thus, if you're infected and signed up for an internet service or paid for a purchase using a credit card, then they would know your username, password, card number, expiration date, etc..

You can go to download.com, search for, and download/install all these programs. I am not advocating that you stop there however, you should probably have at least one paid for app to further protect your PC.

Your personal financial information handy as you'll want it when registering.

If you don't already have an email address, you can get one for free from Yahoo or Google (Gmail), go to either website and search for a "email" or "Gmail" link. Follow the directions for setting up an account, it is quick and effortless.

As soon as you have fortified your pc and feel secure, have your email address and personal information handy, proceed with the sign up procedure.

Just go to eBay's site and search for and click on the "register" link, right now displayed in the upper central portion of eBay's website. They change their design occasionally but I imagine they'll keep the register link in this simple to see location.

Registration is straight forward, just follow the steps displayed on the monitor.

Your username, or eBay ID can be linked to your interests, and so on, and your choice is not as important as if you are planning on being a seller. You can always change it later on if you would like, when you have been registered for at least a month.

Your password should contain numbers and both upper and lower-case letters, ideally easy to remember for you but comparatively complicated as far as the mixture of numbers and letters.
